RANDY ANDROPOLIS is a music instructor and multi-instrumentalist. Having studied at St. Louis Institute of Music with master classes at Julliard, Randy worked as a Community Music School administrator in Niagara County for 18 years.

As a Private Music instructor, Randy teaches Piano & keyboards, classical guitar, acoustic & electric guitar, mandolin, elementary banjo, elementary harp, electric bass, recorder and digital recording. He also tutors Undergraduate level composition, theory and instrumentation.

A former studio arranger and bandleader, Randy has produced many original recordings. He has also served as a U.S. liaison for Green Linnet recording artists.  His group, "Heirloom," toured the UK and Northern Ireland in 2000, co-sponsored by the BBC.

Adjunct Professor of Music Histories at Niagara University, Randy also worked as Guest Musical Director with Niagara University Theatre when enlisted, having composed and conducted original scores for its productions of MacbethThe PassionAs You Like ItMetamorphosis and Hortensia and the Museum of Dreams. More recently, he was guest musical director for NU Theatre productions of The Pirates of PenzanceLittle Women – the Musical, Into the Woods, Nine to Five and The Pajama Game.  Other theater credits include The FantasticksThe Only Jealousy of EmerSaulLet Freedom Sing & Dance and Character Matters - a musical for children which he directed for Lew-Port IEC. 

In summer 2014, Randy was Sound Designer, Composer and Musical Director for Shakespeare in Delaware Park's production of Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors, directed by Steve Vaughan. In summer 2018, the same for King Lear. In 2019, Randy composed the music for Vaughan’s production of Love’s Labours Lost. The Buffalo News had this to say: “With fantastic music and a vibrant cast whose chemistry makes the play engaging and easy to follow, this production is perfect for the Shakespeare in Delaware Park series … It is especially memorable for its music. With music composed by Randy Andropolis and coordinated by Jay Wollin, the play features a trio of musicians who play elegant interludes from the villa’s balcony.” In 2022, Randy again lent his composing talents and collaborated with Jay Wollin for Steve Vaughan’s ‘As You Like It’.

Randy was also director of Artpark's annual Rock and Advanced Rock Camps for teens in Lewiston, N.Y. from 2010 to 2015 .

Randy’s latest effort ‘Raindrops’ Recovery’ is now complete, awaiting mastering. A collection of 16 cover songs, it is co-produced and mixed by DMS Productions' Dave St. Onge. Contributing to the recordings were Christina Andropolis, Sean Taylor, Joe Roscetti Jr, Tony Petrocelli, Bryan Staddon, Elena Bohannon, Wes Anderson, Warren Jayne, Jim Salhany, the late Peter Chinnock (to whom the collection is dedicated), Sam Fadel, Ann Schieder and Mike Salazar. Full track credits will appear on this website. Still in the works is Raindrops’ Worldview, a collection of world music, which is over half complete. Thus far, it also features Ann Schieder, Mike Sheridan, Elena Bohannon, Vicki Mehr, David Dorrian, Christina Andropolis, Sam Fadel, Warren Jayne, Jim Salhany, Peter Chinnock, Wes Anderson, Joe Roscetti, Jr, Lily Clark and Ashley DeMar.
